About DayKind

DayKind is a private iPhone journal with one quiet way to stay close. Each day you choose Up, Steady, or Down and, if you like, add a factor or a note; a visual calendar and gentle insights show the shape of your weeks and months. With Link, you invite one person who matters and exchange a Pulse — a single tap that lands on their Home Screen widget and Apple Watch as a small sign of warmth. There is no chat, no photos, no location, no read receipts and no pressure to reply. The journal never leaves the iPhone and is never sent to the linked person. One connection, Pulse and the whole journal are free; DayKind Plus is an optional annual subscription that adds 23 hearts, a shared appearance for the connection, widget and Watch styles, a local Warmth Map and a private Annual Review.

DayKind lets couples living apart stay close with one tap — no chat, no location, no pressure to reply.

Boilerplate

DayKind is a private iPhone journal that helps people see the shape of their days and stay close to one person who matters. A once-a-day check-in — Up, Steady, or Down — stays on the device, while Link lets you send a single quiet Pulse that lands on the other person's Home Screen widget and Apple Watch. No chat, no photos, no location, no ads and no tracking. DayKind is made by an independent developer and is available on the App Store, with one connection and the full journal free.
